Titled “The Latest” because it literally was, this track was a nice indication of where things were going with TW.  I remember this song mostly for the chorus/interlude part which was kind of like an anti-chorus, i guess.  It’s a couple little moments where I could match the kick drum to the main melodic bits of the song…something a drummer doesn’t often get to do.  There’s some really fun stuff Brad and Tyler did at the end of this song with their respective instruments…

I have no idea where this is actually from…but i suspect it’s a board mix from a show at The Backbooth. They were always super supportive of Trophy Wife. I didn’t even know I had this track until I was rooting around for something to post from TW. This song never made it into the studio, but was one of the first songs we worked up. I’ve always really liked it…i’m glad I have a recording of it. :)
